You may have asked yourself this question even before ariving here.

The name is a combination of  Digerati and Inc (you know, Inc as in Incorporated). It was a whim of the moment, and now we’re stuck with it for the next 3 years at least, so we should get used to it. It’s pretty cool once you think of it, and you can interpret it in more than one ways :D

What’s a Digerati? Go on, read the Wikipedia article linked above. It’ll tell you some cool things(I have only read its beginning, but I’ll trust Wikipedia on this one). I first heard the term over at Seth Godin in this post. I was surprised to see the name had been coined ages before. Pretty interesting stuff.
