The 4th day had the final lecture of Dennis Ray and a quite interesting talk of Robert Maxim about Ensight, Management Consulting and his captivating success story (which reminds me: they have an internship program that you can apply for over here).
The 5th and last day:  competition of business ideas and plans. The jury: Steven […]

The event goes on, socializing is much easier now after the team-building exercises from Cristian(I often overreact regarding these things - most people around liked him A LOT, so I guess I’m probably not the best judge of character).
Dennis Ray amazes me every day, the savy aged-guy, brilliant and enthusiastic, with a HUGE experience in […]

E3

15May06

E3 - Electronic Entertainment Expo - closed on Friday. E3 is the biggest annual event in the game industry.
I went to LA with my company, expecting to see interesting achievments or trends in mobile entertainment. Unfortunately, that was the weakest part of this E3. Except Nokia / N-Gage with its spacious booth, nothing significant was […]

Good2Go - day 1

15May06

Personal opinions:

The link of the day is about a talk from the Flickr guys on Scaling Fast and Cheap - How We Built Flickr over at ETech 2006, whose outline you can find over at Vogon Poetry
Pretty useful stuff, in the same line of thought as in About Bootstraping :

use Linux, MySQL
keep it simple
Control Version everything
use […]

Management, strategy and entrepreneurship quotes and ideas with Tom Peters - live keynote from his speech in Bucharest over at Radu Ionescu

Although I’ve been living in Paris for the last 2 years and a half, I had no idea that there were so many interesting IT startups over here. I mean, I knew there is a lot of IT research over at INRIA, Telecom, and ENS, as well as at Francetelecom and Sony labs. Mostly AI, […]

The hottest thing on the web of the moment, hotter even than Cebit. It’s the place to be if you want to be in touch with the future Web2.1 .
On the speakers list, too many to mention: David Hansson from 37signals(the guy who built Rails), Joel Spolsky, Kathy Sierra, Ray Ozzie, Linda Stone, and.. […]
