Updates
As you can see, I haven’t updated in a while this little blog, and I’m sorry.
There are two reasons/excuses for this.
First of all, I haven’t got too much time. Early in the week, a friend of mine asked for a bit of help for a tight-schedule Java Swing GUI development; building a front-end for a […]
On the down side…
Sometimes I feel up, sometimes I feel down. The problem is that in the last month I’ve been on the down side.
The two or three of you who read this blog probably know already that I’ve been dreaming of being my own boss for a while now. I remember being a fourth-year college student, more […]
Good2Go - day 4 and 5
The 4th day had the final lecture of Dennis Ray and a quite interesting talk of Robert Maxim about Ensight, Management Consulting and his captivating success story (which reminds me: they have an internship program that you can apply for over here).
The 5th and last day: competition of business ideas and plans. The jury: Steven […]
Good2Go - day 2 and 3
The event goes on, socializing is much easier now after the team-building exercises from Cristian(I often overreact regarding these things - most people around liked him A LOT, so I guess I’m probably not the best judge of character).
Dennis Ray amazes me every day, the savy aged-guy, brilliant and enthusiastic, with a HUGE experience in […]
Good2Go - day 1
Personal opinions:
Dennis Ray is a great speaker with a great background in studying this “interesting breed” of entrepreneurs, especially in exotic countries such as Vietnam, China, Singapore, Belarus and others(now Romania as well).
Very nice brainstorming on “the entrepreneurial mindset” - systematic search vs accidental discovery of opportunity.
The Asian model of organic growth vs the western […]
Good2Go - entrepreneurship event
I found yesterday about an interesting event/conference on entrepreneurship, now at its second edition, called Good2Go(here is the presentation page); while I don’t know almost anything about the guests(their CV’s are linked on the page above), the topics of discussion seem quite interesting.
The downside? Limited places, therefore motivation letter and admission interviews. I’m applying as […]
Millionaire interview of the day
Via Lifehacker there is a pretty neat interview with a self-made man aka Marc Allen over here. While I’m not at all a fan of “how to make money fast” and “believe and meditate and you will succeed” mantras, there are some interesting and pretty motivating quotes in there; such as
Take risks. Don’t fear failure […]
No, I’m not dead
Seeing that the latest post on this blog was more than two weeks now, you might have started to believe I got shot in the street on some dark alley, or that I have just plainly stopped blogging, the way Russel Beatie did or Dragos Novac(a Romanian blogger I’ve been reading for two long years) […]
Euro Web2.0 map
Again via Rodrigo I got to the kelblog page of the former author of Kelkoo(sold to Yahoo for quite a bit of cash) and founder of Wikio, which seems to be a cross of Digg, Newsvine and Kelkoo. I’m not sure yet, it’s in beta.
Well… the guy over at Kelblog pointed Rodrigo to a pretty […]
T-Shirt printing
Not very long ago I was studying the possibilities of starting a T-shirt printing company:
As I recall, there were some suppliers of specialized hardware around, in price ranges of 2000-10000$, depending of the quantities and print quality(just google for t-shirt printer), the price of a simple t-shirt stays below 5$ while the price for a […]
